Classes are held throughout the year and are free and available to volunteers and members alike. Topics have included geology, Ute Indians, Zebulon Pike, edible plants, birds and wildflowers identification. Local educational trips have been offered to the Pioneer Museum, the Old North End Historical District and others.

Scout Programs Training – Red Rocks Room. Back by popular demand and thanks to funding from FOGG - Our Scout programs continue and need your support to grow. We will be hosting an introduction/ training for the two Scout Programs we offer - Naturalist Program and a Geology Program. Programs are two hour programs held on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month.

Tour of Cheyenne Mountain State Park – Meet with Danielle Hill, at the Park’s Visitor Center (576-2016), 410 JL Ranch Heights, Colo. Springs, 80926. After our tour of the Visitor Center and area, volunteers will be encouraged to hike along the many trails on your own. Bring your volunteer name badge to get in for FREE!

Hamp Hut – Presentation & Tour – Hamp Hut is the Girl Scout’s building located inside Garden of the Gods Park. Meet with our very own Brook Cruz in the Red Rocks Room for a short presentation on Hamp Hut followed by a tour of the building.
