Following are some of the great activities our members participate in. See anything you would like to help with? Sign up!

Information Specialist
Use your people skills at our Information Kiosk by interpreting exhibits and helping people from all over the world have the best experience in our park and our city as possible.

Naturalist Interpreter
Share your enthusiasm for nature with visitors through walks through the Central Garden or present a talk on a subject of your choosing on the trail or in Visitor and Nature Center
Youth Program Leader (School Field Trips)
Join other volunteers and City Staff in our School Field Trips program. It is designed to teach children the natural wonders of our park. Field Trips are divided into two programs: Meet The Park is designed for younger children and introduces them to the park in general; Geology shows older children “How Those Red Rocks Got Here”.

Step On Guide
Interact with groups of people who arrive by bus by joining them on their bus and interpreting the nature; geology; and history as you ride through the park.

Trail Maintenance /Park Clean-up
The FOGG Trails Maintenance crew is an all-volunteer team that meets every 3rd Saturday to maintain the many trails of the Garden of the Gods. Trail work includes pruning back brush overgrowth, clearing out water drainage, ground erosion prevention, and litter control.
